Desert inspired artist Vicki Talvi-Cole combines her imagination with desert treasures of stones bones and feathers into each hand sculpted piece. She uses paper clay as her medium followed by kiln firing and cold glazing. Vicki can be found creating in her long time art studio or roaming the desert in Marana Arizona.

All pieces are unique one of a kind, intuitively hand sculpted, kiln fired and cold glazed. Art showings include Toscana Studio and Gallery and Tubac Festival of the Arts

An old ranch horse living on the desert came up to greet me, expressing a soft nicker. It’s wiry textured mane tangled and scars marked its face. It’s color beneath the dirt crusted fur was a rich delicious chocolate gold. Our eyes met as a deep sense of wisdom filled the air.
